Advocacy
A picture really is worth a thousand words.
We believe media and art is the best way to capture and communicate the heart and imagination of this generation. Passport Café and Gallery offers wall space to tell the stories of marginalized communities around Thailand. In the past we have used commissioned volunteer photographers to document the lives of some of the people we have served in southern Thailand. The result was an exhibition, shown in Bangkok and Canada, complete with a photo book and video. The exhibition also generated good reviews in one of Thailand’s best art and design magazines: Art4d.
Our hope is to build on past projects and continue using art and photo exhibits as a way to gain the attention of students and young professionals as to what is happening in the world around them.
